The composition of a surgical mask
- Surgical masks are generally composed of melt-blown cloth, non-woven cloth, mask belt and nose clip. The outer and inner layers are made of non-woven clothand the middle layer is made of melt-blown cloth.The outer layer of the mask is designed to prevent droplets, the middle layer is the core functional layer forfiltering droplets, particles or bacteria, and the inner layer is mainly hygroscopic.
- The main filter material is polypropylene melt-blown cloth, which is a kind of ultra-fine electrostatic fiber cloth. Due to the electrostatic effect, it can catch dust, and the droplet containing various viruses can be adsorbed on the surface of melt-blown cloth and cannot be penetrated.Suitable for flat mask melt-jet filtration: normal, BFE95 (95%), BFE99 (99%), VFE95 (99%), PFE95 (99%), KN90 (90%).Melt-blown cloth is generally 20 grams of weight, the higher the gram, the better the protective filtering effect, the use of N95 40 grams or even higher.Of course, if the non-woven layer is too much, the mask is hard, and the melt-blown layer is too much, it is difficult to breathe

The principle of surgical mask
Masks are mostly self-primers, which work by allowing harmful air to pass through the mask’s filter before being inhaled or exhaled.The filtering mechanism of mask filter material is shown in the figure below.
Summary of the masks making machine：
This machine is mainly used for automatic forming of plane mask: the whole roll of cloth is driven by roller after being unrolled, and the cloth is folded and wrapped automatically.The nose bridge strip is rolled up for traction and unrolled. After cutting with a fixed length, it is imported into the edge cloth.
The two sides are welded to the seal by ultrasonic welding. The mask was transported to two mask ear belt welding stations by the assembly line, and the mask was finally formed by ultrasonic welding. After the mask is made, it is transported to the flat belt line through the assembly line for collection.
